About Stellar Web Design

Stellar Web Design is a web design and development business working from Oxfordshire for clients across the UK since 2008.

My objective is to build attractive, effective, standards-compliant websites, designed with usability and accessibility in mind. As an independent web designer I am able to build quality websites at highly competitive rates. I get enormous pleasure out of what I do and hopefully my enthusiasm comes across in my creations.

I haven't always been a web designer; I graduated in 1994 with a degree in physics and have worked in the nuclear power industry, as a secondary school science teacher, at Oxford University's Bodleian Library and as a private tutor.

Largely self-taught, I began doing web design several years ago initially just as a hobby, but over time I came to realise that if you can make a living doing what you love then work really doesn't get better than that! I set up Stellar Web Design as a fledgling business in 2008.

Location is no obstacle and I have built websites for clients across the UK; in fact it is often unnecessary to meet clients face-to-face at all, since everything can pretty much be done via e-mail and over the phone.
